Welcome to the first episode of SOUNDFOOD: an open, intersectional dialogue on nourishment of all mediums, inviting the inquiry: what is Sound? And how do we both find and feel resonance today.
In this episode, we sit down with Nitsa’s father, Alfred Pomerleau, Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Food + Agriculture Activist. He shares insights about his passion for juicing and cleansing, the relevance of nutrient dense soil and its relation to nutrition, and how this has informed his work with his patients in his acupuncture practice over the years. We also discuss his devotion to composting and how we can use our own waste and food scraps to have a positive impact on the health of our bodies and the world around us.
Thank you for tuning in. If you are able to donate to SOUNDFOOD we would be so grateful for your support. Everything and anything you can give helps us continue to share these conversations with the world.
Infinite gratitude!
